World premiere of Chestnut Street to be performed
at the Boston Center for the Arts

BOSTON: Company One announced today that it will produce a second stage production of Chestnut Street, an original "neo-cabaret" conceptualized by Joanna Abbott, at the Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street, Boston, from January 10-19, 2002. Performances will run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $16, $12 for students and seniors, and may be purchased in advance by calling the BCA box office at 617.426.2787 (617.426.ARTS).

In the black of night, come to where the city's heart pulses. The world premiere of this "neo-cabaret" will take you deep into the decadent darkness of the nightclub known as Chestnut Street. Where exotic dancers waltz and opera singers jam, Company One's latest production, Chestnut Street, combines music ranging from classical to rap to create a club experience like no other.
