COMPANY ONE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, JULY 2009

GREETINGS!

The C1 family has just what you need to heat up your summer!

OPENING FRIDAY!

AFTER THE QUAKE opens on July 17th and we could not be more excited! The talented cast, that we’ve introduced you to in the last few months, are ready for you to see them work their magic. AFTER THE QUAKE, based on two short stories by acclaimed writer Haruki Murakami, is a gentle tale of life in the wake of earth-shaking disaster. A timid man woos an old flame, enchanting her anxious daughter with whimsical bedtime stories of a six foot frog’s fight to save Tokyo. C1 Artistic Director and director of AFTER THE QUAKE, Shawn LaCount notes that one of the messages of the show is “Don’t wait for your world to crumble and shatter to realize all of the opportunities that lie at your feet, ready for the taking. Take steps to open your eyes and realize all you have at your fingertips, before it is too late and the chance is gone.” SO don’t miss your opportunity to see what promises to be an enchanting evening of theatre.
