COMPANY ONE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, October 2010

GREETINGS!
The temperature might be dropping but Company One's hot!

Don't miss THE ALIENS!

Called "a gentle and extraordinarily beautiful new play" by The New York Times, THE ALIENS promises to deliver! As a part of the Shirley, VT Plays Festival, THE ALIENS is a funny and heartening look at friendship, ritual, and small town New England.Written by young phenom, Annie Baker, who "may just have the subtlest way with exposition of anyone writing for the theater today," (New York Times) has penned the story of two 30-something dropouts who hang out by the dumpster behind the coffee shop where they meditate on music, philosophy, shrooms, and Bukowski. When a teenage employee asks them to relocate, these disillusioned young men find the disciple they’ve been waiting for. Please join us for this beat-tinged, psychotropic journey through the tiny spaces of our small towns.

"ILLUMINATING!"- The Boston Globe

"Baker’s play will have you
laughing one moment and tearing up the next.
