COMPANY ONE ANNOUNCES C1 LAB!
C1 Lab is a radical approach to the creation of new work for the stage. As, one of ?the most inspiring and innovative theatre companies on our national landscape,? (American Theatre Wing) Company One has a history of collaborative projects to its credit and now this boundary-pushing company solidifies its commitment to the collaborative creation and production of new work, the Boston arts scene, and the artists who contribute to it.

C1 Lab will create theatrical projects collaboratively from the ground up, integrating a director and designers into the process from the start.

Each work developed will have a process as unique and specific as the concept it is serving. The dynamic of the program will meld methodology of experimental ensemble-created pieces with established play development techniques of readings and workshops and create new ways of bringing artistic concepts to life. In true Company One style, the end products are guaranteed to be must-see theatrical events that will be the talk of the town, and the country.

Productions that C1 has succesfully collaborated on to date: The Aliens, Grimm, Fringe Wars, The Superheroine Monologues, and ARTiculation.
